When you surround yourself with great people, anything is possible. This is something we've believed in since day one and so far, our instincts have not let us down. In many cases we spend more time with our colleagues than we do with our own families so bringing on the right people is crucial to success all around.

We're lucky enough to have grown over time, which opens doors for people to advance within our organization. Today we'd like to highlight some of the stellar individuals who've had both the desire and know-how to climb the corporate ladder, take on new challenges, and advance their careers.

Todd Hekkema joined IT Resource in 2005 and has been an invaluable asset to our team. He was recently promoted to a Senior Support Technical Consultant role, which was incredibly fitting, considering his superior wealth of knowledge and people skills.

"We've had 22 years of great experiences paired with great people who have a lot of knowledge in a variety of capacities," explains Todd. "My hope for the new Senior Support Technical Consultant role is to be a liaison between the support and professional teams so we can enhance the support team's knowledge base and become the most pleasant, efficient and experienced team we can be."

In our support department, we've seen growth through a team that shines for a variety of reasons, including their ability to always put the customer first and do things with a smile. One person who falls into that category is Lindsay Burns, who was recently promoted to IT Support Manager.

“I've always been extremely passionate about procedures and the details behind them, and I'm finally in a position where I can thrive in these areas," said Lindsay. "I'm very excited about the growth, and learning the dance that's happening between all the teams. I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

One team member in particular has seen it all when it comes to the history of IT Resource. The first person we hired was Tim Felstead and two decades later he's still with us. This year he earned a well-deserved promotion when he became an IT Security Compliance Analyst.

"I'm looking forward to this new phase in my career and I will enjoy working with everyone to help protect all of our companies and our customers," said Tim.

We're so grateful for the dedication, service, knowledge, and friendship these colleagues have given us over the years. Each of them are so well deserving of their promotions and we feel lucky to have them on our team.
